Alangarapriyan – Brahmothsavam 2008 Picture Gallery – Day 5

The day 5 alangaram which is Hanumantha Vahanam is now online!. This is my first time that I have done this sort of sathupadi for Sri Srinivasa Perumal on Hanumantha Vahanam. The traditional way of doing this in the Singapore Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple would be to hang the right feet down the shoulder of Hanuman and cross the left leg over Hanuman’s head.

I have not come across this type of sathupadi done in any temples. After doing this alangaram, I had this sence of great satisfaction that Sri Ramar seems to be very comfortable on the shoulders of his greatest baktha!

I hope you will enjoy this alangaram as much I did!.

Narayana Narayana!
